Weekend of Romance!

Our plans for the weekend changed when we heard that Martin and Gaz couldn't make it for the weekend, so instead I started planning a day of romance for myself and my (still) new husband! The day got off to a wonderful start with the smell of baking bread making us. After breakfast in bed and showers we mad our way to Mundesley beach. We took a look around the village (this took about 2 minutes as there were about 6 shops in all!) and we raided the Oxfam store. It felt wrong to walk away with such bargains and still have change for lunch! Andy told me about a burger bar he used to go to with Harley boy, so we ordered 2 deluxe burgers and enjoyed the scenery...

We had a lovely stroll along the beach. The skies were blue and the sun was shining. It was cold, but with my recently purchased 50p mittens keeping me warm it was a beautiful day for it!

We arrived home and finished the evening with a romantic candlelit dinner, bath and massage..! And that's all you need to know!

Gardening!

The weekend started off as a lazy one, we were still in PJs when Helen and Paul popped over with their new car at 10.30! Once they were gone though Andy decided to get cracking with a spot of gardening! Jade however was no help..!

...she chased the broom, ran from the mower, hid in the bushes and after all her activity she slept very well that evening!

Saturday night we stayed in with Jackie Chan and a glass of wine! Sunday, church and lunch at The Cherry Tree! And that was our weekend!

Proclaimers Massif!

Just when our Monday evenings were getting a little dull! Annie Poos was over for dinner followed by the rest of Proclaimers Massif! (Minus poor little Raph who was ill and tucked up in bed!) Ian had his grumpy face on for most of the evening and you only have to look at Dan to feel sorry for him! Annie I hope you've finished your presentation!

Fun-filled Weekend!

It's been a great weekend! We spent yesterday with Momma and Poppa Cracknell. The plan was to spend the morning walking at Thetford Forest! (I'm sure you are all now conjuring up lovely images of forest picnics and the Brady family...!)

...This is how it really turned out!

So we stopped for a delicious lunch at Elveden Restaurant and then decided we would go bowling! We made our way to Bowthorpe and put on our stylish shoes ready to begin. Now i know that i am useless at bowling. I have never claimed to be otherwise, but at this point Poppa Cracknell tells me that he's not very good either...!

...Do we believe him!? I think not! With a score of 167 could he win? or maybe i too had been playing down my true abilities and would come out on top! My score was ..............................45!!!!! Possibly the lowest score ever recorded! Still great fun was had by all and Andy and Momma Cracknell also showed amazing talent!

We had dinner at The Cherry Tree at the top of Norwich Road. It was delicious although i'm not sure 10oz rump steak fits with my healthy eating resolution! They offer 2 for 1 on meals so it was excellent value too!

We finished the evening off by watching Casino Royale at Riverside Cinema. We all thoroughly enjoyed it. Both myself and Andy agree it is the best Bond yet- not a pansy in sight. He was well 'ard! We then braced ourselves for the walk back to the car surrounded by many drunken chav's. Momma Cracknell even contemplated a charming invitation to Club Inferno, but we managed to pursuade her otherwise!

Finally- A pin up for both wife AND husband to enjoy!

Oops!

This could be harder than i thought!

New Year!

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYBODY!

It is 2 days since our New Year celebrations which we spent at the Peking Diner in Bromley. Here i am with my 2 special Andrews!

Now the new year has finally arrived and i have decided to keep a blog so that you can all see how exciting my life really is!

As usual i am trying to put together a list of new year resolutions! So far i have come up with the following:

1. I will not skip church on a Sunday unless we are away. (God forgives us but i wouldn't mess with Tom!)

2. I will eat less (as i seem to have put on a whole four pounds over christmas!)

3. I will be obediant to my husband and not question his authority (As if i would!?)

4. I WILL NOT complain anymore about the organisation (or lack of!) at the nursing school. I'm sure your ears are tired of hearing it and i'm even starting to bore myself!

5. I will work hard this term and do each presentation as if it were my first! (I won't tell you how enthusiastic i was when i did my first!)

Unlike most typical women my mind does not multi-task and even the above may well be beyond me so i will concentrate on 5 resolutions for now and update on how well (or badly) i am doing!
